The Educational Director position is a three-quarter’s time job. The director helps work with the following ministry areas: Sunday School, Visitation, Discipleship Training, Vacation Bible School, Missions Organizations, Children’s Ministries, and Nursery.
Laurie McBride has served with FBC since 2003. She holds a Doctor of Arts in English from the University of Mississippi, a Master of Arts in Speech from Bob Jones University, and a B.S. in Secondary Education from Tennessee Temple University. Laurie has taught children’s Sunday School classes for over 15 years, and has also served as a summer 5-Day Club missionary for Child Evangelism Fellowship. In addition to her work at FBC, she works as an adjunct speech instructor at NEMCC and UTMartin (Selmer).
