Joey Williford became the Minister of Youth (7-12th grades) of First Baptist Church in 2004. Ordained to the Ministry in 2007 by First Baptist Church, Joey serves as a bi-vocational youth minister with full-time employment at Northeast Mississippi Community College where he serves as the Director of Guidance & Counseling. Joey holds a M. Ed. in Counselor Education from the University of Mississippi with a B.S. in Sociology from Mississippi State University. His days as a student at NEMCC became very life changing as he accepted Christ on February 9, 1992 after having the Gospel shared with him by a student worker for the Baptist Student Union. Joey and his wife, Stephanie, were married in December of 1994 and have three children – Abigail, Joseph, and Isabel.
