Hat day was a smash hit with lots of hats - all kinds - flowers, caps, feathers, pipe cleaners, cat in the hat, jester - every style under the sun.
Our hats go off to those who made the most important decision of their lives - accepting Christ as Savior and Lord. Today, Dr. Jones gave a salvation spotlight and a number of children came forward to learn more about becoming God's child. Pray for these ones and for more to be drawn to HIM.
Prayer was our focus today in the story of the Midnight Caller - who persistently asked his neighbor for help. No matter what time of day or night, aren't you glad we can turn to God. "Be anxious for nothing, but in EVERYTHING, by prayer and supplication, let your requests be made known to God."
To remind us to pray, craft groups made a prayer door hanger for their rooms.
Missions' classes visited more Rain Forest countries, glued flags in their passports, and played Extreme Bingo in Missions B class, where they learned about Amanda - a missionary who did extraordinary things for God!
It was hot outside, but we stayed cool with watermelon in Snack time, and had a ball in rec.
Tomorrow, we practice our musical for SUNDAY. My how time has passed in the Rain Forest. We'll be boarding a plane back for the United States before you know it.
