If you are in K - 6th grade, and you're NOT in Mission Kids, you are missing OUT! In Mission Kids we don't JUST STUDY about MIssions, we DO MISSIONS. What did we do for God in 2010???
We collected empty soda cans, took them to the recycling center, and sent the $21.45 in profit to the Baptist Center in Houston, TX.
We made bottle banks and saved over $15.00 in change. We sent that money to the Baptist Children's Village in Mississippi.
And locally, we spearheaded a canned goods drive for our Baptist Association's Food Pantry. One Sunday in the Fall we made banana bread loaves for their freezer, and delivered the bread and the cans. We had fun organizing clothes and the pantry shelves!
So ... come join Mission Kids - and get ACTIVE for GOD! We meet at 5:30 p.m. each Sunday night during the school year in the game room - Christian Life Center (FBC).
