Today was loads of fun. We had block parties to invite the kids to come to the VBS and sport camps. We had various activities such as football and blow-up toys. We had some of the younger youth making cotton candy, popcorn, and snow cones. Some of the ladies made balloon animals, and did face paint. We meet kids of all ages, some stayed for awhile as others just stopped by.
Mrs. LuAnne has been challenging us with daily dares this week, where we do various things for our individual that we drew the name of at the beginning of the week. Today’s challenge was to get something for your person. So in between the two parties we stopped by Wal-mart to get our gifts. Some decided just to give it to the person as others keep it a secret. It was very interesting to see some of the gifts we had received.
It looks like my complaint was premature. I'm sorry Jarrett. Great picture of Emily. Looks and sounds like everyone is having a really good time and getting closer to our Lord. Praise Him in all things. Keep singing and praising God. Your work will be greatly rewarded inside, as well as out.
