“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing!” These words of praise from Psalm 100 serve as a basis for our praise at First Baptist Church, Booneville. It is our desire to express that “He is God” through every aspect of our music ministry. It is our responsibility and privilege to worship the Lord through song.
Since God is the one who gives people talents, we believe it is our responsibility to use those talents to honor Him. Talents like music and worship help people connect with God. But it’s not about performing or drawing attention to ourselves. Simply put, we’re here to express love for our Heavenly Father both inwardly and outwardly.
Our music ministry is made up of several groups of all ages and all walks of life who join together for the purpose of giving glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We offer a number of opportunities, including worship choirs, mission trips, seasonal performances and more. Here you’ll discover the heart of authentic music and worship. Read about our ongoing activities below or click on each ministry separately to find out more.
