Our last night on the beach

We've seen some awe inspiring scenes in our choir tour travels - Seward, Alaska immediately comes to mind with all the wildlife and glasier flowing valleys.

But, God's beauty of a sunset on a west coast beach compares in its beauty. That's where our youth worshipped their last night in California. We built a fire, ate smores and did a little belly boarding in the evening surf before they worshipped.

At the San Diego Zoo

Here's a few pics from the Zoo of some animals and even some picsof some of the caged wild species! No just kidding the kids have been great, doing all that has been asked of them and then some.

The zoo is awesome. We spent nearly 5 hours looking and I am sure that some didn't see it all. It would take a ciuple of days to all the exibits.

The San Diego Zoo is so large and very hilly. It is tough walking up and down the slopes - we got a good work out.

The trip started with a bus ride to the Soladad Mountain (an public site). On top of the mountain is a memorial to veterans that surround the cross. Ronald Reagan has a plaque there.

From the mountain you see or miles up and down the coast. It was a beautiful site.

The huge cross can be seen miles. There has been an ongoing attempt to remove the cross from the mountain by some atheists. Since a religious symbol cannot be displayed on public property the mall around the cross was sold to a veterans organization. Hince, the cross still stands.

Another Life Saved

Another one of our youth made a Profession of Faith tonight during devotion.

The Lord is working in and through our youth.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Praise God for Lives Changed!

At the end of each day we gather to have a devotion. We sing, have a short Bible study and share stories from the day. The devotions can last 30 minutes or sometimes several hours according to how the Holy Spirit is working. It's during these times that the group truly bonds with the Lord as well as with each other.

During devotion last night we had a PROFESSION OF FAITH in our group. It is amzing to witness how the Lord uses this group to influence the lives of our youth.

Please continue to pray for us this day as we go out to share the love of our Lord with others.
