Wow! What a trip!

This trip was definitely different from the rest. The devil has really tried to break us down and pull us away from God, But what he has yet to realize is our God is Mighty to Save.

Wow! Today has been a Blast! We had our fun day where we loaded up and headed to Kings Island, which is an amazing them park. We had a blast riding the roller coasters and or riding or playing around at the water park.

The Devotion tonight was the last of our trip, It was a very special moment. Where we talked about various things and just had share time. The last day of devotion is always the most emotional with us losing our seniors, and the trip just coming to an end.

Thursday I joined the group that went to the food bank. We separated groceries into many different categories. From can goods to peanut butter and jelly, it was one of the most fast pace jobs that I have scene all week. After lunch we changed jobs and packed small bags called Power Packs. They were small weekend bags of food that are passed out to less fortunate children at their schools.They consisted of various foods. We had packed 910 bags and 3,726 pounds of groceries.

So We are having technical difficulties so i will not have pictures added until the problem is fixed.

Today I joined the Senior guys, and Carter doing construction. We were split into two groups at different houses. This first group i was with consisted of Chase David Jordan Joey and Carter. We pressure washed the deck and did a fantastic job. It made a great difference in the amount a crude on the deck. We also did some painting and weededing. The house is looking better and better each day. They have also inspired the owner of the house to get out and work as well.

So for the next three days, we are all split up. So I am going to be talking each night about all the places I visit. I am but one man, not three.

Today I started out with the younger youth cleaning apartments that have been fixed up. We cleaned from top to bottom and from knees to ladders. We had to use rags as mops; we were so limited to a small amount of supplies. When we were finished the three apartments were spotless from top third floors to first. We cleaned everything.

Today was loads of fun. We had block parties to invite the kids to come to the VBS and sport camps. We had various activities such as football and blow-up toys. We had some of the younger youth making cotton candy, popcorn, and snow cones. Some of the ladies made balloon animals, and did face paint. We meet kids of all ages, some stayed for awhile as others just stopped by.
