Missions

All FBC kids ages K - 6th grade are invited to participate in the annual Kids' Lottie Moon Walk-a-thon. The walk will take place December 5th, Sunday, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the CLC gym.

Children are to bring their Lottie Moon Walk-a-thon forms to the gym that night. Forms will be available in Sunday School by November 30th. Try to get as many sponsors as possible. Following the morning service, December 5th, children will be gathering sponsors at the exits of the auditorium. Please support them!

Thanks to everyone who made shoeboxes and helped at the Relay Center! We've had a great turn out in workers and participation. Not only did members of our church help (28 of you), but also volunteers from the following organizations helped:

Once again this year, First Baptist Church will serve as a Relay Center for Operation Christmas Child. Times for the Relay Center are November 17th - 21st (M - F 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.). Sat. and Sun. (November 22nd & 23rd we will be open from 1 - 4 p.m.). Monday, November 24th, 8 - 10 a.m. ONLY.

FBC provides a wide variety of mission opportunities, including:

• Mission Kids: K – 6th graders; September – May; meets each Sunday night from 5:30 – 6:25 p.m. on 2nd floor—Christian Life Center. We study exciting mission stories, watch mission videos, play games and eat international snacks. Service projects include Mission Walk-a-thons, Operational Christmas Child booth, and nursing home cookie bake/sing.
